This was my first dinner during my vacation in Christchurch, and it was absolutely fantastic. The staff were incredibly warm and friendly, and the food was delicious. A perfect dining experience, I'm really happy.

Fabulous evening dining with friends. We all ordered the Canterbury beef fillet which was cooked to perfection. Lovely vegetables and potato done in duck fat. Highly recommend this dish. Good selection of drinks, staff know their wines. Lovely atmosphere.

Visited 27 Steps on our recent trip to Christchurch. Lovely meal. Local produce. Fish of the day was superb and also had food envy of the beef on the table next to us! Wine list if definitely worth spending time reading and Downstairs also has wonderful choice by the glass. Friendly and authentic service as well which just added to the enjoyment of our meal.
